Sarah Millar, Grade 1

Sarah Millar is from Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. She holds a Master of Education in Teaching (Primary) from Griffith University, Australia. Sarah joined KISJ in 2015-16.

I think everyone should read… The Missing Piece and The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.

Outside of school, I most enjoy… soccer, hiking, photography, and traveling with my husband to new countries we have not yet visited.

I’m inspired by… Dr. Seuss – “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.”


Lindsay Stefferson, Grade 1

Lindsay Stefferson is from Tucson, Arizona and most recently worked as an English partner teacher for a Mandarin immersion program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona, and earned a teaching certificate in Elementary Education with a Structured English Immersion endorsement. Lindsay joined KISJ in 2018.


I think everyone should read… "What Do You Do with an Idea?" by Kobi Yamada.


Outside of school, I most enjoy... doing creative projects and yoga, walking my dog, and exploring nature.


I’m inspired by... kindness and creativity.




Jessie Lytton, Grade 1


Jessie Lytton is originally from the Northeast area of the United States but for her adult life has lived and worked in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a Master's in Education from City University of New York- Hunter College and a Bachelor's Degree in International Trade and Marketing from the State University of New York- FIT.

Jessie joined KISJ in 2019-2020.


I think everyone should read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith.


Outside of school, I most enjoy being adventurous and traveling around the world with my husband, exploring new places, trying all kinds of food, listening to music, swimming, and watching the sunset.


I'm inspired by people who are willing to take risks, my students as independent thinkers and observers, and a sense of humor.



Janna Allooh, Grade 1


Janna Allooh is from Phoenix, Arizona but most recently worked in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She holds a master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University and a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University as well. Janna will be joining KISJ in 2019-2020.


I think everyone should read... "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch, as it teaches the value of love and family.


Outside of school, I most enjoy... hiking, yoga, Kona coffee, and a good book.


I'm inspired by... beauty in the world and selfless people. 




Angela Campagna, Literacy Specialist Grade 1

Angela Campagna is from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and has taught in Dubai, Ho Chi Minh City, and Busan. She holds a master’s degree in Education and ELL specialist qualification from Queen’s University, a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Ottawa, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Windsor. Angela joined KISJ in 2017-18.


I think everyone should read… The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Outside of school, I most enjoy… traveling and spending time with my family and friends.

I’m inspired by… creative and positive people, random acts of kindness, and beautiful places in the world.
