Last semester, students from grade nine to twelve in Ms Kelley's classes have been experimenting with a sculpture, drawing, printing, or painting technique with three different media and two different applications, (or concepts); they documented the process from beginning to end, observing where errors or fails happened to teach them something important. With the documentation, collaborative pairs or teams of three produced a video aiming to:
1) Express design thinking in order to teach others.
2) Encourage others to experiment with using various art media to create very different designs.
3) Raise dispell stereotypes about visual art only being for those who 'can draw".
4) Engage fully in content specific language.
