Service Learning and Leading (SLL)

All students at Korea International School, Jeju Campus are expected to participate fully in project-based, experiential service learning trips both on the island and abroad. We believe these service opportunities help students to understand the forces impacting people across regions, develop empathic intelligence, and foster a more global perspective.

Elementary School students are introduced to service learning with field trips around the island and complete a service project that critically evaluates different aspects of our community, for example the impact of tourism on Jeju.

Middle and High School students can participate in local service projects or travel overseas on trips organized in collaboration with World Youth Adventures, a specialist in school service travel with over 25 years of experience. Overseas trip destinations include Vietnam, Cambodia, Taiwan, and Guam.
