2026-27 Admissions process
ADMISSIONS PROCESS
Students applying to a grade with no seats available will be added to our waitlist. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all required documents are correctly submitted. Students with incomplete applications will not be allowed to participate in testing or interviews. All documents submitted are considered the property of Korea International School, Jeju Campus, and will not be returned after the application process is complete.
입학 시험 지원 후 해당 학년이 공석이 없으나 합격 조건에 합할 경우, 합격대기자 명단에 기재될 수 있습니다. 지원자는 필수 서류가 모두 올바르게 제출되었는지 확인할 책임이 있습니다. 필수 서류를 모두 제출하지 않은 학생은 입학 시험에 참여할 수 없으며, 제출된 모든 서류는 본교 자산으로 간주되어 입학 시험 과정이 완료된 이후에도 반환되지 않습니다.

Upload the required documents through the application portal.
STEP 3
Your application will be considered complete after all required documents have been received.
STEP 4
The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid before the admissions assessment.
STEP 5
Complete the admissions assessment and interview at the KIS Jeju campus.
STEP 6
Admission results will be sent via text message within 3–4 weeks of the assessment date.
STEP 7
Pay the tuition fee by the specified deadline.
STEP 8
Enrollment is complete once tuition payment has been confirmed. Welcome to KIS Jeju!

그 외 모든 경우에는 “From Korean School” 기준의 연령차트가 적용됩니다.
최종 학년 배정은 학생의 학업 이력 및 본교 입학 정책 검토 후 결정됩니다.

*Teacher Recommendation
Teacher recommendation forms must be completed and submitted directly by the applicant’s teachers using the official KIS Jeju recommendation form.
To request a recommendation, parents/guardians should log in to the online application portal and navigate to the Checklist. Under Teacher Recommendation, enter the teacher’s name and email address, then click the Send button. The recommendation form will be automatically emailed to the teacher.
If the homeroom teacher is also the applicant’s English or Mathematics teacher, the same teacher may not submit two recommendation forms. In this case, applicants should request a recommendation from another qualified teacher, such as their previous year’s homeroom teacher or a teacher of Music, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, or another academic subject.
*교사 추천서
교사 추천서는 지원자의 담당 교사가 본교 지정 양식에 따라 직접 작성하여 제출해야 합니다.
추천서 양식은 학부모님께서 온라인 지원 사이트의 Checklist(체크리스트)에서 Teacher Recommendation(교사 추천서) 항목에 담당 교사의 성함과 이메일 주소를 입력한 후 Send(발송) 버튼을 클릭하면, 해당 교사의 이메일로 자동 발송됩니다.
담임교사와 영어 또는 수학 교사가 동일한 경우에는 동일한 교사가 두 장의 추천서를 작성할 수 없습니다. 이 경우에는 전년도 담임교사 또는 음악, 체육, 과학, 사회 등 다른 교과 담당 교사에게 추천서를 요청하여 제출해 주시기 바랍니다.
