He believes everyone should read Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass by Frederick Douglass.
Outside of school, Bill spends his time outdoors with his family, fishing, surfing, and hiking, making the most of everything Jeju has to offer. His other passion is Jiu-Jitsu, which he also shares with his family. He especially enjoys running the school’s Jiu-Jitsu club, where he teaches middle and high school students. Through Jiu-Jitsu, he helps students push past their limits, overcome real challenges, and develop strength and resilience that extends beyond the mat.
Bill is inspired by underdogs—those who rise above expectations, defy the odds, and show the power of persistence.
