Admissions for Applicants Residing Overseas

KIS Jeju offers an online admissions process for applicants residing overseas. Students who are interested in KIS Jeju’s educational program can apply regardless of their current country of residence by following the steps outlined below.

Q. Who are applicants residing overseas?

  • Korean nationals residing outside South Korea at the time of application (including dual nationals)
  • Foreign nationals residing outside South Korea at the time of application

KIS Jeju는 해외에 거주 중인 지원자들을 위해 비대면 입학 전형을 제공합니다. 거주지와 관계없이 KIS Jeju의 교육에 관심 있는 학생들은 아래 절차에 따라 지원할 수 있습니다.

  • 입학 지원 시점 기준 대한민국 외 국가에 거주 중인 대한민국 국적 소지자 (이중국적자 포함)
  • 입학 지원 시점 기준 대한민국 외 국가에 거주 중인 외국인

* Teacher Recommendation

Teacher recommendation forms must be completed and submitted directly by the applicant’s teachers using the official KIS Jeju recommendation form.
To request a recommendation, parents/guardians should log in to the online application portal and navigate to the Checklist. Under Teacher Recommendation, enter the teacher’s name and email address, then click the Send button. The recommendation form will be automatically emailed to the teacher.
If the homeroom teacher is also the applicant’s English or Mathematics teacher, the same teacher may not submit two recommendation forms. In this case, applicants should request a recommendation from another qualified teacher, such as their previous year’s homeroom teacher or a teacher of Music, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, or another academic subject.

*교사 추천서

교사 추천서는 지원자의 담당 교사가 본교 지정 양식에 따라 직접 작성하여 제출해야 합니다.
추천서 양식은 학부모님께서 온라인 지원 사이트의 Checklist(체크리스트)에서 Teacher Recommendation(교사 추천서) 항목에 담당 교사의 성함과 이메일 주소를 입력한 후 Send(발송) 버튼을 클릭하면, 해당 교사의 이메일로 자동 발송됩니다.
담임교사와 영어 또는 수학 교사가 동일한 경우에는 동일한 교사가 두 장의 추천서를 작성할 수 없습니다. 이 경우에는 전년도 담임교사 또는 음악, 체육, 과학, 사회 등 다른 교과 담당 교사에게 추천서를 요청하여 제출해 주시기 바랍니다.

International applicants will be evaluated on their English proficiency and overall academic abilities through an online interview.

  • There will be no written test. The evaluation will be based on the submitted documents and the interview results.

※ Interview schedules and details will be provided individually after the document review.

  • Eligible grade levels for application are from JK through the first semester of Grade 11.
    (Transfer admissions for the second semester of Grade 11 and Grade 12 are not possible due to academic scheduling.)
  • Applicants must have a stable internet connection and a device equipped with a webcam and microphone to participate in the Zoom interview.
  • Applicants must attend the interview at the designated time. Recording or proxy testing is strictly prohibited.
  • Admissions test scores and Admissions Committee decisions are strictly confidential and not disclosed.

 

해외 거주 지원자는 온라인 인터뷰를 통해 영어 및 전반적인 학업 역량을 평가받습니다.

  • 별도의 필기 시험은 실시하지 않으며, 제출 서류와 인터뷰 결과를 종합적으로 반영합니다.

  ※ 인터뷰 일정 및 세부 사항은 서류 심사 후 개별 안내됩니다.

  • 지원 가능한 학년은 JK부터 G11 1학기까지입니다.
    (G11 2학기 및 G12 전입은 학사 일정상 불가능합니다.)
  • Zoom 인터뷰 참여 시 안정적인 인터넷 환경, 웹캠 및 마이크 사용 가능 기기가 필요합니다.
  • 사전에 공지된 시간에 인터뷰를 참여해야 하며, 녹화 또는 대리 응시는 금지됩니다.
  • 입학 시험 성적 및 입학 결과는 기밀 유지되며 공개되지 않습니다.
