Dear Dormitory Parents,
Warm greetings from the KISJ Dorm Office.
At KISJ, we are committed to creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment where students can grow in both their academic and personal lives. One of the greatest challenges facing adolescents today is developing the ability to manage their use of electronic devices in a healthy and responsible way.
In line with national laws and the guidelines of the Jeju Provincial Office of Education, our dormitory prioritizes both the physical and emotional well-being of students, along with the development of self-discipline.
The Dormitory Device Storage Program is not simply about restricting or confiscating devices—it is designed to help students build healthy digital habits and develop personal responsibility through self-regulation. We hope this program offers students the chance to cultivate self-control and maintain a stable daily routine.
For Middle School dormitory students (Grades 6–8), electronic devices will be safely stored away from their living and learning spaces during designated times.
Specifically, during bedtime hours, all devices will be locked in secure storage to ensure students get sufficient rest and maintain a healthy sleep routine. This helps them stay focused and energized for school life.
In support of this program, we kindly ask all Middle School dormitory parents to complete the following forms:
Device Storage Program Consent Form (Required)
As always, the dormitory team is committed to guiding each student toward positive and balanced development.
Thank you for your continued partnership.
Sincerely,
Dorm Office
